Crazy-Logic is a creative outlet for electronic projects, both hard and soft. It's a small look inside my brain at times. Totally bias to my thoughts, nothing has been paid for - no paid placement but showing freebies allowed.
Projects based around Arduino and DMX, with PWM RGB LED's among a few with the occasional dip into lasers, as i have 2 laser cutters. Also have a 3D printer (in bits currently).

There are guides out there showing how this can be solved on some Cisco switches www.audinate.com/learning/faqs/mac-osx-shows-listening-under-the-clock-status-tab-in-dante-controller but you can also solve this on other switches using the method shown. Or on smaller networks you can simply change the global ...

Hi Matt i followed all your steps but it didnt work, the last part preview and program y do de changes but its still on black, my vmix version is.27 can you please help me?
Wow, thank you a lot!
I bought an HP Z440 in 2021 for $230 Australian on eBay. Put a HP Turbo pci-e nvme adaptor and an HP Gen 4 nvme in it for $60 total. 32g ddr4 and 4 cores running 3.5 turbo boost. It blazes hard.
We have now new cctv camera that connect through wifi or LAN port, is this possible to add in to vmix through IP too? Or RTSP
ip is just the network address, RTSP is a protocol for getting video streams from it. if it supports RTSP then you can add it this way. (it's not always the only way)
Thank you so much for making a video on this!! It was super helpful for me while choosing steppers for a project.
Hey Matt, thanks for this great overveiw of the Z600 - I've just subscribed. I bought my Z600 about 6 years ago two X5560's and 48Gb RAM - like yours. I want to upgrade to SSD. I notice you only went to SSD 1Tb. Is there a limit on this with this computer or can I go to 2Tb? The HP website doesn't say. Also if I wanted to upgrade to USB 3.0...any advice on that? Keep up the great work mate...good show.
so, unsure if you can go past 2TB with the onboard sata drives, i have a feeling you can as i had a 4tb in mine iirc. but honestly i wouldn't put money on my memory of that right now. i did put a USB3 PCIe card in and that was fine. :)
@@CrazyLogic Brilliant thanks Matt. A great help👍. Keep up the sterling work.
How can I run it while logged out? For me this is very important.
work on optiplex 7010 DT?
Should do - just make sure your PSU is not overloaded as the DT's sometimes have lower wattage PSU's
Your connection works excellent.
can you show the wiring from the joystick more detailed? I don`t understand the diagram
hello how are you? can you help me setup my liveshow on vimix? i can pay

For anyone unable to find the Desktop Sharing option, look into the System tab instead of Sharing.
has anyone tried printing them?
seems so simple yet this is like 6th tutorial, and I can't get it to work. When I enable a rule on let's say port 80, all the traffic on that port stopps working, for exmaple, I can't browse internet on my server when I enable that rule
For some reason when i change the config to the desired one, i don´t have internet
Thank you so much! Geez, I thought Windoze 11 was quick on 2 cores.... It's a speedracer now on my 12700k!
I have a Dell of that same model, but my problem is that the bios is damaged and I need to flash it again, because the computer turns on but it doesn't give video and it doesn't do anything, is there a way to flash the bios again for MS-DOS from usb or some other way?
probably not, and if there is it would be something like a JTAG interface on the motherboard.
Will this enable resizable bar ?
No, I don't believe it's a feature on CPUs from this generation.
no change AT ALL in raspbian buster... it can be set to static with this...
My screen dims after 30s when its hooked to a pc so stupid
Do you know if the E3-1220 v2 would work? These are only $7.99 on ebay at the moment. Also same price for E3-1225 v2 which has iGPU.
does this work with another mix? for example I wanna use Mix 3 as my Kamera Mix and not Mix 1?
yes - you'll find them for mix 1-4 in my github github.com/crazy-logic/vMix-Scripts/tree/main/MultiView
Are you certain the terminology is correct in this application: Dom Domain = Guest VM Node = Host ? I was thinking the opposite?
Nice explanation but... When scene changes at 00:01:48 it comes back with a window titled: webdev1 on QEMU/KVM. What app is that?
it's a virtual machine.
You are a god. thank you
I followed your guide. But when i go to settings for the remote desktop it shows different options. Why? Yes its 22.04
It’s in “Settings > System > Desktop Sharing” now
Amigo tengo un optiplex 7010 y le quiero colocar un xeon e3 1230 v2, solo lo coloco y ya ? O le tengo que modificar la bios ?
Hello friend! I liked the course, where can I find it?
i was expecting that adding this option is gonna be a hell of a thing but it's so easy. For example a few days ago i had to make a script that scans multiple qr codes from a file, each qr code represented a carecter, the hardest thing was to make that script output all the 106 caracters on the same line and not one under eachother
is this working for unifi ubiquti switches also ?
This shows why you need to set them up correctly...
Great video! Thanks so much!!
I cannot ssh to my public IP can anyone help?
This is not something to ask strangers for help with. Have you a mobile device you can try from?
Great, thanks!
does this work for wireless
Yes, would need to lookup the netplan details for a woman adaptor
ubuntu does not have a legacy vnc feature anymore, and also everytime i do try and remote into the damn thing i get a blank screen, even with logging out as people had tried to suggest, didnt work
what display manager are you using?
@@CrazyLogic haven't changed it so whatever Ubuntu has as default
@@Cinnamon_Shaey and that will be the problem. Im pretty sure I cover moving to lightdm in the video.
@@CrazyLogic well i followed the tutorial to a tee and still that result
It's specifically for a headless application so I will not have a screen attached
Working flawlessly on 8GB RAM Pi 5 :)
Amazing. I'm doing custom cables for my home, and only had a single laptop that I could use to test. This worked like a charm with a couple of USB ethernet adapters. Thanks!
This video is great! It's the only guide I've been able to find online on this. Plus, it taught me a bit about how to write systemd unit files! Only problem is that I was getting errors when running it. After spending some time troubleshooting, I realized that I first needed to create and set a password file for the unit. I did not notice that in your video, but maybe this wasn't necessary a few years ago when the video came out. $ sudo x11vnc -storepasswd
Great video thanks
Thanks for the video. It would be really helpful if you can have the screen captures larger and easily legible. I don't think people watching this video care that much about watching your face - just for future reference ;)
I agree- but other people have told me the opposite, so this was the balance I got to at the time. :(
Thanks so much! What a nifty feature.
thank you my lord and savior 💙
Thank you very much! helped a lot

Hello, i really need your help. I want to control my ws2812b (it is 16*16 in snake connection) using dmx controller and arduino. like dmx>rs485>unoR3>ws2812B, im seeing existing projects already. but i dont want to consume all 512channels for each color like 170pixels only (RGB*170=510channes), im looking for a code where i only need let say 1 channel of dmx (0-255) to display 000-005 displays letter A on 16*16 006-010 displays letter B on 16*16 and so on up to letter Z and including numbers. i think that is possible, say if DMX=003 then arduino pin12( to ws2812b sends data that displays letter Ae
pretty simple for you to implement - you need something to collapse the DMX value to a array pointer, eg; 1-36, each representing a number/letter, and then you need an array of strings for each one with the data to send out.
I'm unable to add :port it's not working.. have any idea?
which versions are you using? - in the sim - try changing it to port 80
Amazing video mate!
Thanks, people rarely show this failure mode and even fewer can actually explain how to recreate it. Spread the word :)
I was trying to figure out how to get the copy paste working. that location of Vbox addtions wasn't in that path and just had to open up the folders, click on the cdrom part and copy the location of that file.
